Goa State Museum-
Goa State Museum is also known as State Archeology Museum. It is one of the most famous museums in Goa. It has artifacts and many things that exhibit the reach cultural heritage of Goa. Naval Aviation Museum-
Naval Aviation Museum is a wonderful treat to an aviation enthusiast as it showcases the vintage aircrafts that once served Indian Air Force. It also has many serving aircrafts and some other artifacts that make patriot feel proud. One of the main attractions of this museum is Vikrant Hall and Viraat Hall that is dedicated to huge aircraft carrier ships.
Goa Science Centre and Planetarium-
Goa Science Center is also a must visit place which showcases wonders of Science and astronomy. This planetarium has an air conditioned auditorium with seating capacity of around 140 people. It is must visit place for children as it showcases various multimedia presentations and 3-D films about the formation of Earth other celestial bodies.
Museum of Christian Art-
This museum has many paintings, sculptures, religious monuments silverwares and many other artifacts that have been created by the local artists. This museum has rich history it was founded in 1994 and one of its kinds in India. It is established in assistance with Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Portugal. It is a well maintained museum and is open on weekdays from 9 to 5.
Ancestral Goa Museum/Big Foot Museum-
Ancestral Goa Museum is an outdoor cultural museum which exhibits the typical culture of Goan life. Here, one can see the rustic beauty of Goan villages. It is an educational center for the preservation and promotion of art, culture and environment. Mirabai’s sculpture is unique attraction of this park. This museum remains open from 9.00 to 6.00 all days of the week.
Museum Of Goa (Privately Owned Museum)-
This museum is started by Goan artist Mr. Subodh Kerkar in 2015 with the aim to bring out art and local history into foreground. It often holds various exhibitions and is open from 9 to 5 all days of the week except on hoildays.
Ashvek Vintage World Car Museum-
Ashvek Car Museum located in Nuvem is meant for the car lovers. Here you will find some of the old cars that have been obtained from the nearby cities by the founder of this museum. This museum aims at preserving the vintage cars and restoration work is also undertaken.
